Marco is Italian & Carolina is Portuguese. They fell in love in Italy, had an adorable baby, and married near Porto in Carolina’s hometown. It was a beautiful ceremony and I was lucky to have been invited. <3 Muito obrigada, grazie per tutto. Long live your love.
Katy & Steve and I explored Noda this week to do a couples session. Here are some photos of them being super cute:
Casey & Jesse had their lovely ceremony at Highland Brewing in Asheville, North Carolina complete with smoke bombs, food trucks, and amazing mountain scenery. I had done Casey’s boudoir session beforehand, so I wasn’t surprised that photographing her was easy since she’s so naturally fierce! They were one of the kindest couples I ever met and it was a joy to be a part of their day. They are currently in Europe right now and hope they are having the best time celebrating this new chapter ahead of them!
Marci is from north Georgia and Chris is from the UK. They both luckily met in Australia and it was love ever since. Their beautiful ceremony was at Ogletree Estates in Cornelia, GA and I believe it was the first time I ever heard British accents in north Georgia. ;)
Marci is also a good friend of mine and to see her be treated well is a great feeling. Marci, you’re beautiful inside and out and you deserve the world. I know you and Chris will have a beautiful life- full of travel and fun. Thank you for letting me capture your wedding.
*Fun fact: Marci studied Viticulture and created her own wine the year they met and brought it for their wedding! (pictured below)
I had been planning this shoot since last July when I went to sublet in NYC for a month after I returned from Europe. I would walk through Park Slope with the world feeling like a slow-motion fog until I reached Brooklyn Heights Promenade where I would sit and scheme up creative ways of expressing what I was feeling. This shoot was a very therapeutic way of describing 2018 for me and a fun new way of shooting in studio. Styling by me. Make up by Lovely By PatriceRead More
